What's A Really Good Handicapped Friendly Airline?
I'll be flying my 86-year-old father up to Minneapolis, MN for one of his sister's 90th birthday party.
We'll be flying out of Milwaukee (as that is just as far as O'Hare but cheaper, $ roughly $10 cheaper) and the choices of airlines are: Midwest, Northwest, AirTran, Delta, American and United.
My grandfather doesn't walk very well and uses a rollator (walker). So, he would need to use that at the airport and to board and leave the plane.
Which airline would be most handicapped friendly for my grandfather?
Thanks for the help!
By law, the will provide your grandfather with a wheelchair through the terminal, and help him onto the plane and his seat. Just make very sure they know your grandfather needs the chair, and it will be waiting for him.
Delta and American are probably the most trouble prone airlines, and get a LOT of consumer complaints.
Americans with Disabilities Act.
