Running and hurt knees?
I have really good nike women's running shoes, and I had heard that it might possibly be because the arch is not sufficient. Apparently nike is pretty bad about making sufficient arches in their shoes, is this what it most likely it. I can deal with it, I just want to know what I can do to truely fix the problem. Should I put something to help the arch support in the shoe? If so, where should I get it?
also, I had just walking shoes that I used to run with and I had no problem with my knees, so it might just be that I am working them pretty often. Are there any stretches that I can maybe do to cool down my muscles and to help relieve stress on my knees?
Running is very stressful for your knees. I know because my boss who has run for 25 years just had one knee replaced and is having the other one done in two weeks. Just because shoes are high-dollar doesn't mean they are good shoes for you, even if they look cool.
