Listen to your dog is talking!
Author: Kayye Nynne
Imagine that every time I try talking to your best friend, his response is one of the harsh words of rebuke. Now imagine this happening, not once, twice or three times, but almost every day. I'm betting there will soon be much of anything to call the friendship to the left! Even I'm on a limb here and venture a response Soon the two are not talking altogether. Maybe I could pull some shell or maybe a little bombardment of negativity and criticism that will lead to lash out in one day anger.
Well, let's image a little different scenario in which to become a dog and that the supposed best friend is his owner. That makes it a little more complicated is not it, especially if your landlord is not trying to be deliberately cruel or harsh, but just does not understand how to communicate well with you!
Okay back to human form, for now. Have you ever tried to communicate with someone who does not speak the same language as you? It is not easy it is! There are a lot arm waving, gesturing, self-conscious smile and facial contortions, many of which really is not helping you better understand each other ... and we are talking Communication between individuals of the same species here! That puts into perspective the situation fairly monumental wall between you and your dog in an efficient communication each other.
The real problem here is that you do not speak dogspeak your dog nor speak any human language, but that does not mean you can not learn to communicate effectively with others. And since we happen to be the most intelligent species in this association, in particular, the onus is on you believe the best environment communication. But unfortunately too often this is not the case, most often it is the dog owner who represents the part that gets angry and confrontational during communication sessions. If and when such a situation continues for a sufficiently long period that in turn could make your dog:
• become depressed and withdraw
• Home prevent
• Whimper and slink when in the vicinity
• They become aggressive and unmanageable
Please communicate with your dog according to your dog
Like us humans, dogs have their own standard dog tag that incorporates the appropriate behavior and accepted quite naturally in the same way that we expect them to respond to our communication as desired, so do not expect less from us. But As noted previously, and they are two very different species, although we have lived together for thousands of years, the inescapable fact is that dogs and speak completely different languages!
Thus, to forge a better relationship with your dog needs to have a better understanding communicative signals the dog that is not what is obvious who understand dog language.
Dog Language
The dogs bark grunt, groan, grunt, groan, howl, trilling and singing as a means of communication between them and other species, like us. Dogs can tell fairly accurately the tone and inflection of our voices what kind of mood and mood that we are both in the same way you can judge their intentions with the type vocalization that account. But so far there is only such communication is USA and the simple fact of the matter is that much of the language of dog exists in the form of signals vocalized not something the average dog owner is fully aware.
In general, all dogs, regardless of where they come (thanks to its ancestral origin common wolf) understand what another dog is saying. However, some dogs are better suited to signals that others are not vocalized. For example, dogs that have docked tails can not communicate with the dog signals that embody the tail stock. Color patterns also play a role in dog language communication, and dogs eyes have spotted black outline fire on them are more able to communicate their eyes because signals relating to such a contrast. Completely black or white dogs are disadvantaged from this perspective, which may explain why black dogs licking signal used more often than those using facial expressions.
Common Dog Signs not vocalized
Licking Nose: Nose licking by dogs is one of the signals used for show their distress or, alternatively, used as a message to calm other dogs or people in a situation where the dog licks evaluated as one who is too stressful.
Head turn: the spinning head can be a subtle or a quick pivot motion only, sometimes the rotation of the head can be extended to a side lateral movement. Avoid head is another way in which dogs can defuse potentially explosive situations by turning to each other because head off signaling are threatening not polite to speak up intentions.
The next time your dog leaned over to look carefully see if he or she turns her head, if they do then they are clearly signposting makes them feel uncomfortable. If you pay attention the next Once you also notice that dogs rarely look directly at each other because it is considered rude and full of threats. When the dogs sit on the group usually avoid head apart according to the friendly dog tag (like the way civilized people make a point of not looking directly at the person before them in a subway).
Squinting Eyes: Dogs reduce their eyes to convey to the person or canine companion which his gaze is directed not have bad intentions, and there is no veiled threat implicit in that look. When a dog sees another dog with no intention directly threatening, dog squints his eyes to make sure the other dog understands that it is intended to aggression.
Dog Bowing: Bowing represents a number of things in the language of the dog, but more commonly it is an invitation to play. Dogs do not just bow to other dogs who also submit to the people and other animals. When a dog I would also hop on one foot then surely it is an invitation to play. Sometimes, dogs also use a bow as a means to calm or stress of a situation.
Yawn: A dog yawning does not correspond to a tired dog, yawn becomes another de-stressing signal in the tongue of dog. This is a sign of dog can be used quite effectively to calm your dog when he is anxious or agitated. These are just some of many signs of dog vocalized no use to communicate with other dogs and us. You can use some of these signals to communicate with your dog's best furry friend. However, I would not recommend walking tongue slobbering all over her face, which can lower or standing in the world, but I'm sure the same applies in the real world!
