what are some simple exercises? ?
i recently broke both my ankles (dont ask), so my movement is very limited for the next few months.
my cousins husband told me he gained 15-20 pounds when he broke his ankle, so im trying to avoid this.
been doing sit ups, the one where you lay on your back and fold your body in half. kind of like toe touches….. but on your back, and the one where you run, but on your back. like your riding a invisible bike upside down.
these are killing my back though. any other ideas would be really appreciated. maybe some kind of in place cardio.
i also thought of getting a wheel chair, but i live in mountain terrain so its some what impossible to get around in one
lie on the floor. now holding on to a chair raise both legs straight up in the air now swing them down until they are about 5cm from the ground. Repeat 10 times and do 3 sets. you can do this with a friend instead of a chair by grabbing your friends ankles.
another thing you can do is lie on the floor then raise your legs and pretend your riding a stationery bike in the air.
