can you test your dog with a one touch meter for his diabetes?
my dog has diabetes can i test him with a one touch blood meter machine that i have at home?
In spite of what "Cap" said, no you cannot. You will need a special glucometer for dogs than humans. Dogs have different values in their blood than humans. Would you do a blood transfusion on a human with dog blood? Not unless you want to die. Human and dog blood is completely different, and machines that work on human blood will not get an accurate reading with dog blood.
