I have recently not been able to exercise due to headaches/heart palps when I do, could this be Minocycline?
About a month ago I had an episode in the gym where I finished a set of Dips, and experienced rapid heartbeats, shortness of breath, and dizziness. I have been working out consistenly for over a year and had never experienced anything like that. I had been on Minocycline for about 20 days when this happened. Ever since taking Minocycline and since this episode happened I haven't been able to fully work out without experiencing pressure in my head or palpitations. I went to a cardiologist and he said my eco,ekg and 24hr monitor all checked out fine. Anyone with any experience or knowledge of this I would greatly appreciate your advice.
Did you read the side effects on the info that came with the medication? If you had you would have seen that it causes headaches. If you need the compleate side effects list you can go to webmd and click on medications. type in the name of the med and it will give you all the info you need to know. Then call you dr and speak with them as I don't know how long they intend to keep you on the medication.
