Why test strips of glucometers not sold in 10/25 ct packing?

Accucheck aviva glucometer is used in our charitable dispensary at Pant Balekundi,Belgaum Karnataka state,India.We need 25 strips for every 3 months. Where can we purchase them in Belgaum or Kolhapur in 25 qty packing. 50 qty packing is available but as the strips need to be consumed in 3 months we will have to waste 25 strips every 3 months and the trust can not afford to do that. Kindly advise

Hi there,
Anybody who uses the glucose strips will be a regular or "prospective" regular user of the strip. Maybe that is one of the reasons...In additin, maybe it is not profitable for the company to do such "small packet business" .......
What the "solution" I remebered for you was, two or three "such small quantity users" can buy a big packet of 100 and can divide among yourself.
This method is being adopted for some "costly reagents" by some indiiduals/hospitals in our country.
