Blood glucose levels?
Hi, well i have been feeling a little of and a kind off inner trembling and visible slight hand trembling so decided to buy a test kit. However the result on the "Free style feedom lite"
Has indicated at a level of 53?
I have no idea what this means good or bad? Or if its even a correct reading?
Can anyone advise? Im a Female 30 yrs old Many thanks
BE CAREFUL!!!!!! IS YOUR METER IN mmol/L or mg/dl. IT IS IMPORTANT TO BE SURE. If your reading is 5.3 it is OK if it is 53 you are low. CHECK!
U K blood sugar is measured differently then the US!!!!
U.S. value = UK / Canadian value times 18 (mmol/L x 18 = mg/dl).
U.K./Canadian value = U.S. value divided by 18 (mg/dl / 18 = mmol/L).
